Attention Scouters:
On Tuesday, June 16th, our council will be visited by the “A Century of Values” National Tour. In preparation for Scouting’s 100th Anniversary in 2010, a dedicated group of Scouting volunteers from Michigan have begun a 45,000 mile, year-long road trip to help kickoff the anniversary in all 300+ out councils!
Traveling in a donated, 32 foot RV, the troupe has scheduled themselves to stop in both Dalton at 9:30 AM, and Chicopee at 4:00 PM on the 16th. They will be presenting us with a commemorative mural in honor of the anniversary. We will be ready to greet them, and express our appreciation to them for their wonderful journey in highlighting Scouting’s worthy legacy. Join us if you can for this truly unique happening!
